Top SF bbq is my favorite skewer place! The parking can be a bit tough but it's very worth the food. Service is good and food is always fresh, recommend the chicken gizzards and chicken skewers!

Top SF BBQ has an extensive menu with your typical dry-erase marker menu and generously offers cumin BBQ seasoning at the table if you're like me and obsessed with dousing your skewers in more flavor. price: ~$10/person recs: chicken wing skewer Portion sizes were a bit smaller than what I've seen at other places, but everything was delicious! The lamb and beef were cooked to perfection, although both were kind of small. The chicken wings were a highlight -- generously seasoned and crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. For the price, the wings are actually an amazing deal and likely rival other restaurants that specialize in wings. Service is a little slow during peak business hours. It might be worth getting a main dish to share so that you're not just waiting between 1-2 skewers coming out. Would definitely come back to try more items from their chicken menu!

We've been working on trying all the places on our stretch of Clement, and I wasn't looking forward to this one since the overall reviews were so mediocre, but we actually really enjoyed our meal here and will definitely be back. The seasoning on the skewers is delicious and they were cooked well. The beef and bacon wrapped enoki were particularly good. The whole grilled eggplant is covered in garlic butter and meltingly tender. The authentic baby wontons were adorable and delicious. The pork and cabbage dumplings weren't notable but were good for variety. The service was polite and fairly quick. I like that you order by marking up the menu. Looking forward to having this place in the repertoire!
